Periodic Verifications D.M. 93/2017.
Italgas Networks according to the D.M. 93 of 21/04/2017 “Regulation laying down the framework for implementing legislation on controls of measuring instruments in service and supervision of measuring instruments which comply with national law and european”, has established within its organisation a separate and identifiable Inspection Body, which offers the service of periodic verification of the devices for conversion of the volume of gas type 1 associated with the gas meters.
To this end, the Italgas Reti Inspection Body (hereinafter also referred to as OdI) has obtained from:
- ACCREDIA, the Italian accreditation body, the accreditation certificate No. 098E dated 10/27/2014, which certifies the OdI’s compliance with the requirements set out in the UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012 standard; with this certification, the Italgas Reti Inspection Body is classified as a Type C Inspection Body, meaning it is a separate and identifiable unit within Italgas Reti itself, operating with competence, integrity, impartiality, independence, and confidentiality.
- UNIONCAMERE (Italian Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Handicraft, and Agriculture) the authorization to carry out periodic inspections and the registration in the list of authorized bodies with the identifier TO★292.
Based on these certifications, the OdI offers periodic inspection services for TYPE 1 GAS VOLUME CONVERSION DEVICES compliant with national and European regulations (MID directive) with a maximum absolute pressure of 7 bar and a temperature range from -30 °C to +80 °C. These activities are conducted by OdI personnel who meet the competency requirements specified by the UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012 standard and D.M. 93/2017, with many years of experience in the construction, installation, and maintenance of gas distribution systems.
The management of the Body, all operational, technical/administrative staff, and all those who, directly or indirectly, permanently or temporarily, establish relationships and collaborations with it in any capacity or who carry out activities in its interest, operate according to the criteria of fairness, integrity, and independence. Moreover, the management, as specified in the “Management System Policy of the Inspection Body” document, ensures full respect for impartiality in the conduct of inspection activities.
