    Knowing how to manage gas allows you to live peacefully and safely. Here are the basics to know.

    • Due date

      Above the pipes that bring the gas to the stove is their expiration date. Remember to replace them every 5 years.

    • The boiler

      Install the boiler where air exchange is guaranteed (or outside). Check it periodically with a qualified technician.

    • The flue

      Use a flue for each system.

    • Departure

      When you leave (even for a few days) always close the general gas tap.

    • Leak Detector

      If you can, install home leak detection devices. They help you see it.

      Gas Vocabulary

      Some technical terms are not very clear to non-experts. Here is a small vocabulary to clarify some concepts.

      • PDR

        Means Drop-Off Point. It is a code of 14 numbers indicated on the bill necessary to do any operation related to your gas supply.

      • Smart meter

        These are the new digital meters through which remote reading and remote management can be carried out of the meters themselves.

      • Supply and connection
