Click To Be Green is the initiative dedicated to the Environment and Sustainability, featuring Sales Companies as the main players. Click To Be Green not only leverages the innovative ClickToGas services, which enable the reduction of CO2 emissions through the digital process of quotation, connection, and activation of supply, but it also doubles the environmental benefits derived from the use of ClickToGas services: Based on the use of ClickToGas services in 2022 and the related CO2 savings, Italgas will, at the end of the initiative, create several Urban Public Green Areas by planting new trees on public land, ensuring the absorption of an amount of CO2 equivalent to the savings achieved through the use of ClickToGas services. Through our Eco Counter, you can monitor the environmental benefits resulting from the creation of digital quotes with ClickToGas.

Through Click To Be Green we want to realize projects that generate environmental and social value for citizens and local communities.
Click To Be Green is the initiative born from the collaboration between Italgas and the Sales Companies operating on the Italgas Group’s networks, enabling the creation of green areas on public land through the use of ClickToGas digital quotation services.
Builders of the future, a concrete promise
Click To Be Green Open Call supports the municipalities where the Italgas Group companies are concessionaires of the gas distribution service.
The initiative is part of our broader model, the 2023-2029 Sustainable Value Creation Plan, “Builders of the future,” our innovative plan that sets the actions and sustainability targets for creating value for the Group’s stakeholders and the territories where Italgas operates.
Through the Click To Be Green Open Call, Italgas will support, via technical sponsorship, those urban redevelopment projects, either initiated or in progress by public administrations, that aim to generate a benefit for the environment and local communities.

Make your city greener with Click To Be Green Open Call
The call promotes and supports urban and environmental regeneration projects, both where public authorities have already started their own initiatives and where the implementation phase has not yet begun.
How to participate in the Open Call
The deadline for submitting applications has been extended to 18.00 on 31/01/2024
Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.

Evaluation of initiatives
The applications will undergo a comparative evaluation by a committee composed of representatives from the Italgas Group.
The merit evaluation of the projects will consider the following aspects:
- Impact of the project on the environment and local communities
- Economic and temporal feasibility
- Geographical area
- Replicability of the proposed project
- Commitment of the municipality to maintain the developed area
The submitted projects will be evaluated based on the above criteria, ensuring equal opportunities regardless of the size of the municipality.
Formalisation and Outcomes
The projects selected by the commission will be communicated no later than 15/03/2024.
The municipalities whose project proposal is accepted will be contacted with subsequent communication to formalize the technical sponsorship according to the process defined below:
