Training for our suppliers

We care about the training of our suppliers. A training program full of workshops and targeted tracks on environmental, social and governance issues, as well as specific training on technical, health and safety aspects, has been in place since 2021.

Training and engaging suppliers in sustainable procurement strategies

Sustainable procurement is a priority in the ESG strategy. The constant involvement of suppliers and their training are crucial elements for the social and economic development of the country, while promoting a culture of sustainability within the supply chain.

Supplier training: the pillars

  • Sustainability

It is one of the keys to our success, increasingly important and a priority for value creation. Starting in 2021, the IGAcademy4Supplier project will put a focus on ESG issues, strengthening the partnership between us and suppliers.

  • Innovation

"Supplier Driven Innovation" is the initiative that invites suppliers to propose ideas and projects on four key areas: operational excellence, digitization, sustainability and open challenge. It is a boost for continuous innovation and improvement.

  • Inclusion

Our training includes courses organized by associations such as Valore D to promote and incentivize gender equality. To date, many of our suppliers, have joined Valore D's training courses.

  • Sharing

We promote a culture based on collaboration by sharing experiences and tools. We organize meetings and courses dedicated to ethical and anti-corruption issues in order to share goals, targets and strategies and actively involve our suppliers.

    Strengthen partnerships on ESG issues.
