All it takes to collaborate with us is a few simple steps
To become a supplier, there are two key steps: onboarding and qualification.
All steps start from IT4Buy, the platform that allows us to manage our suppliers, open and invited procedures in complete transparency, traceability and with all the necessary information.
Qualification
Needed to demonstrate that they share the same values as the Group, ensuring sustainability, quality of activities, economic-financial stability and ethical strictness.
The qualifying contribution
To ensure the efficiency of the qualification process, we require a contribution from the supplier to be paid upon approval of the completed questionnaires for new or renewal qualification: you will receive appropriate communication with the details and directions for making the payment. This contribution is to partially cover internal expenses, incurred by Italgas Group, to carry out the qualification process. The amount is calculated according to company turnover and the qualification process to which the supplier intends to undergo (Smart, Medium, Strong).

For GM Strong only, the contribution payment of €1,500 does not consider the supplier’s turnover .For GM Medium and Smart, the contribution is requested only from Large and Medium Enterprises (turnover over 10 Mln €), with different amount between:
- New Qualification: €1,000 for GM Medium and €500 for GM Smart.
- Renewal of Qualification: €500 for GM Medium and €250 for GM Smart.
Process
The amount of the contribution related to the Goods Category in process is exclusive of VAT. Failure to pay the same will result in failure to finalize or renew the qualification resulting in exclusion from the Italgas Group Supplier Register. The fees paid will not be returned in case of suspension or revocation of qualification.

ISO Certifications and sustainability criteria for suppliers
We require compliance with Italgas' principles and ethical values, monitoring your sustainability performance through a dedicated questionnaire and, in some cases, also through specific ESG audits, carried out on site and/or on desk, to verify and validate the sustainability questionnaire, in addition to the main ISO certifications and at the tender stage through the inclusion of sustainability criteria.
