Sustainability Scores
The growing attention to sustainability issues and the need to measure, manage and mitigate environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks increasingly push us to promote and encourage a responsible type of business.
For these reasons, in line with the Group’s objectives, the Procurement Department is setting up an Assessment path dedicated to ESG issues with the aim of undertaking an ESG audit path, in order to grow and empower the Supplier Base.
A first step towards responsible improvement of the supply chain is the completion of a Sustainability Questionnaire during the On Boarding phase. The purpose of the questionnaire is to determine the general and specific level of Sustainability of the Company, as well as to provide a summary of the certifications in the various ISO Management Systems. Based on the score obtained, the supplier receives a rating (“Sustainability Index”). In the event of a rating below the pre-established threshold, the supplier will not be admitted to the subsequent stages of the qualification process. The renewal of the sustainability questionnaire is for consideration.
ESG audits will be carried out throughout the validity of the qualification to identify areas for improvement and monitor them through targeted short- and long-term action plans.
The Sustainability Index is one of the parameters that make up the Supplier Rating. The objective is to strengthen the supplier management process in order to build together a Culture of Sustainability that is increasingly widespread throughout the value chain.
