Medea is the Italgas Group company that operates in the construction of networks and in the management of the gas distribution service in Sardinia.
Medea is the Italgas Group company active in the distribution of gas in Sardinia. It is present, in whole or in part, in 24 of the 38 basins into which the island is divided, including the capitals Cagliari, Sassari, Nuoro and Oristano.
With 2,600 kilometres of “digital native” networks and a complex of 82 cryogenic deposits of liquefied natural gas, in 2020 the company brought methane to the only Italian region that until then had no methane.
It currently operates the service in around 100 municipalities with over 51,000 end customers.
